The UMP Campus Pantry’s mission is to alleviate food insecurity and Food among UMP students by providing emergency food to UMP students in need.

Foodbank Malaysia Programme
Foodbank Malaysia programme was launched on 22 December 2018. Following the launch, 430 branches of supermarkets joined hands to contribute any food surplus they had in order to aid the hardcore poor and B40 students. Some of the big names that have taken part in this programme are Tesco, Giant, AEON Co, AEON Big, NSK, Hero Market, Econsave, TF Value, 99 Speedmart, My Family Store, SegiFresh, Mydin and LuLu .
Work with the Pantry
UMP Students under Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) and Kelab Penyayang UMP are required to work during Campus Pantry operating hours, including donation and food sorting shifts and food distributions.
Volunteer with the UMP Campus Pantry
The UMP Campus Pantry is partnered with Food Bank Malaysia under Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri & Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDN HEP) . Strategic collaboration with Mutiara Food Bank, Food Aid Foundation and KECHARA Soup Kitchen. Food Bank Malaysia offers a wide array of community service sites, including the Students Campus Pantry in the University .
